Andoni Iraola Set to Sign Two-Year Contract as Arne Slot’s Successor at Liverpool, Pending Conditions
According to reports, ANDONI IRAOLA has come to a verbal agreement to take over as Liverpool’s new manager on a two-year contract.
At 43 years old, Iraola is set to replace the recently ousted Arne Slot, having settled personal terms with the club.
Slot was dismissed on Saturday after guiding Liverpool to their second league title in the Premier League era just a year prior, with the team finishing in fifth place.
The Liverpool hierarchy quickly identified outgoing Bournemouth manager Iraola as their top choice to replace the Dutch coach, primarily due to his playing style resembling that of Jurgen Klopp.
SunSport reported on Sunday that conversations between Iraola and the club had commenced.
Transfer expert David Ornstein has revealed that the Spaniard is set to sign a brief two-year deal.

Liverpool is expected to officially announce Iraola as the new manager by the week’s end.
Iraola began his managerial journey with AEK Larnaca before having tenures in Spain with Mirandes and Rayo Vallecano.
