Tyson Fury Receives Surprising World Title Fight Offer If He Defeats Makhmudov, Sets Sights on Usyk Trilogy
TYSON FURY is on the verge of an unexpected world title fight if he clinches victory in his upcoming boxing match.
The Gypsy King’s latest retirement from boxing will officially conclude on April 11 when he faces Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
At 37, Fury aims to use the bear-wrestling Russian as a stepping stone to a highly unlikely trilogy bout with former pound-for-pound champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Should he defeat Makhmudov, a domestic title opportunity could arise, especially if WBO champion Fabio Wardley wins his match against Daniel Dubois in May.
Wardley mentioned to Sky Sports: “Earlier this year, I had an open invitation for him before he committed to facing Makhmudov.
“And before I confirmed my fight with Daniel, I said, ‘If you want to go right away, that’s fine with me.’
‘TRUE CLASS’
Tyson Fury praised for a ‘classy’ gesture towards AJ during rival’s time of grief

“If he wants to use this as a warm-up to gauge his performance, that’s absolutely fine.
“I’ll be ready and waiting for a major fight after I’m done with Daniel.”
Fury’s forthcoming match at Tottenham against Makhmudov marks the conclusion of his FIFTH RETIREMENT from boxing.
The former unified heavyweight champion is looking forward to making his return to the ring.

TYSON FURY VS ARSLANBEK MAKHMUDOV: ALL THE DETAILS YOU NEED AS THE GYPSY KING RETURNS
He revealed to The Daily Mail: “My dad stopped speaking to me for a while.
“My brothers also distanced themselves, including Paris. Everyone cut ties.
“Nobody supported my return, and they made that quite clear… but in the end, it’s my life and my decision.
“I know it might appear a bit selfish, but I’ve never felt more alive than when I’m in that ring entertaining fans, and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon.
“Honestly, I might keep fighting until I’m 50, I would say.”
