Ryk is a highly respected financial journalist with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He currently serves as the editor of Moneyweb and hosts RSG Geldsake, the leading business radio show in South Africa.
Before joining Moneyweb in 2011, he held the position of national editor for Media24’s daily business publications.
Ryk is recognized as a public speaker and facilitator, frequently sharing his insights on political and economic matters across various local and international media platforms. He excels in financial investigative journalism and has garnered numerous accolades throughout his career.
He holds an MBL from Unisa and an M.Phil in Journalism from Stellenbosch University, both graduated with distinction.
