A former police colonel, Vivani Vivian Zuma, aged 55, has been sentenced to six years of direct imprisonment for the sexual assault of two women in the years 2018 and 2019.

At the time of the offenses, Zuma was a Lieutenant Colonel serving as the Station Commander at the Umzinto Police Station.
