Kaizer Chiefs FINALLY decide to boot veteran star out
Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly decided on the future of a veteran player whose situation at the club has been a subject of much debate.
Hlanti is heading out of Naturena
“Now, the latest news reaching the crew’s desk is that Sifiso Hlanti could be one of the first players to leave the club. The 34-year-old has been on the books of the club since 2021 but the crew understands that his time at Chiefs could be coming to an end”, wrote Soccer-Laduma.
KAIZER CHIEFS TO MAKE TECHNICAL TEAM CHANGES
According to SoccerLaduma, the Amakhosi board will shake things up at all levels of the club this winter. 2023-2024 was Chiefs’ worst-ever finish in the DStv Premiership. The club is in advanced negotiations with Nasreddine Nabi to become the new head coach, but all technical staff have been informed that nobody’s job is safe. Dillon Sheppard, Aubrey Mathibe, Rainer Dinkerlacker and Bhekumuzi Maluleka are all unsure of their jobs for next term. The same goes for the club’s performance analysts. Tunisian boss Nabi, at the helm of FAR Rabat, is now a point adrift of Josef Zinnbauer’s Raja Casablanca side in the race for the Botola Pro 1 title. There’s just one match to play.
PLAYING PERSONNEL ALSO SET FOR A SHAKEUP
Amakhosi’s wage bill is one of the most lopsided in the country with the likes of Itumeleng Khune and Keagan Dolly, players who’ve hardly featured in the last 18 months, at the top of their salary list. Khune’s imminent departure won’t be a shock to anyone but Dolly’s future at the club is still up in the air. Conflicting reports around the future of Siyethemba Sithebe suggest the club is still undecided on several players. Add Hlanti to the likely departures list and that’s three off the top of our heads who are on the wrong side of 30 leaving Naturena.
Who else should be leaving the club?
