Blue Apron launches microwave ‘Heat & Eat’ meals

has launched a line of single-serve Heat & Eat meals that can be quickly made in the microwave. Based on the company’s “signature” recipes, the lineup includes soy-miso chicken with udon noodles and Calabrian Chile meatballs with mashed potatoes. Heat & Eat meals, which are priced below $10, will be available nationwide starting October 25. Blue Apron is down 31.1% for the year to date while the benchmark S&P 500 index

is up 18.3% for the period.
